Just when you thought you were completely connected, I discovered a newer gadget to help us communicate. Please also JOIN under the sidebar label "Connections". This should help us communicate and share more easily. So join in now and see if you are even further connected. I would also like you to create a GMail account as we mentioned on the audio. This allows us to chat during office hours and synchronous discussion. Try completing all this before our next audio on Monday so we can troubleshoot if you have problems.

Cute photo! "Witch" one is you? I think I have figured out what you wanted us to do and hopefully, by our audio I'll be there. My techie friend will be out of town all of spring break floating around Alaska in his kayak so he told me to try it again and write down all the ?'s I encounter to ask him when I'm back at school. Thanks for the learning opprtunity--I will hopefully survive it and be able to apply my new knowledge. By the by, my textbook arrived and I've read the preface, intro and chapter one. Interesting stuff. JJ
I think I'm hooked up correctly, (although some of my family might argue that). I haven't figured out how your post includes a pic though. I wanted to say that I enjoyed reading all of the poems and I particularly liked Creed's alter ego. In college we did an icebreaker activity after the first class and each person had a paper with their name on it and everyone else in the class had to write one word that they felt described that person. I'm surprised how others perceive me sometimes. You might be more like Carlos than you imagine!
I didn’t have any trouble connecting, but I didn’t ever get a picture on. My software is a less expensive one since I don’t normally use it in my classes. It only allows pictures to be saved on its format not the JPG. This site does not take the format that I can get with this computer software. I did try to import a generic picture from the internet (I thought it was really cute) of an old African gentleman, but that didn’t work either. So, I guess I will only be a silhouette for the class. I am 52 with brown, long hair. My eyes are hazel and I wear glasses. Got my picture in your head now????? dc
